    $134? i remember i had to replace one on someone trucks like a year ago because they shorted it trying to install an aftermarket headunit...it was like $50-70 ish iirc :confused:[/QUOTE]

    That's what the dealership quoted me. I said the same thing that's that's way too much for just a switch

    That's what happens with proprietary parts.

    At best, that switch "only" fits every current production Toyota.
    At worst, that switch only fits the 2nd Gen Tacoma.

    Like I said... it's not like 1965 when every auto maker used the same Allen Bradley headlight switch and dimmer and just put their own knob on it.
    These dimmers only fit a small number of vehicles, and they only burn out when people short something out installing a stereo, so there is zero demand for aftermarket.


    If $100 is all I'd ever spent due to a fuck up, I'd be happy.
