saw this at the expo...trail gear...i know everyone says its a "death trap" but how would it be with the front part re done? (through the dash) ?

Why?

 

If you can do the dash correctly you can the rest for less than that kit

 

haha jw cause ive never seen anything like it for these trucks.

 

No diagonal bracing, very little gusseting, how is it mounted? I cage that collapses on your head is a weapon

Basically everything is wrong with that cage. All parallel lines, no triangulation, the top of windshield tube is way too far back, too many bends in the A-pillar gives it more places to keep bending in a rollover and why the fuck is there a billet tube connector in the the tube connecting the B-pillars?

 

Look closer, tube connectors everywhere so you can assemble without welding I assume

Depending on the material and the connection to the frame it would hold up in a slow speed roll over and maybe in a higher speed rollover... Key word is maybe! Are you ok with maybe when it comes to your life??

Found it cheap on DR. But actually theres some good priced ones on ebay too.

 

Yea all in CA...haha

someday ill get one..soon hopefully.

 

No the ones on ebay were all outside CA. lol
