Mine was about $1700. There was a cheaper model, but it was too cheap with no headliner and single-layer roof.

Mine was 2200 out the door. I have windoors, but not a reinforced roof. I regret not getting a reinforced roof.

My color matched ARE CX with screened sliding side windows and front slider was around $1600 IIRC (2006 price).

I'd highly recommend Windoors if they're an option (really, really wish I had them) as well as a sliding front window that drops down- cleaning the shell/back of the cab is a PITA otherwise.

If you are patient you can find a good deal on a used one. I paid $500 for my ARE and it has all the features you listed except for the reinforced roof. I searched CL and this forum everyday for months just waiting. Features: Carpeted, sliding side windows, sliding front window.

My Leer with sliding windows with screens, carpeted on the inside and a sliding front window was around $1,800.

A Snugtop with the features you're looking for will set you back an easy $1,800 to $2,000. Snugtop makes a quality product. Check out the Sportsman package, reinforced and a few extras. Worth the extra $$ imho. I went with the Highline sportsman for the extra headroom, also makes loading bikes and gear easy. Good luck on you search. Do you get a say in how close together the cap rack bars are to each other ?

^^ Yes, the Snugtop shop let me customize pretty much the entire build. The bars slide as close or as far apart along the cap roof as needed. They are set close together in the pic.

^^ Yes, they are in a track that runs just about the full length the of the cap. Yakima racks. Cap and rack rated to 500lbs load capacity. I just use them for kayak transport for now. The Snugtop Sportsman models have a 2inch thick roof and thick/reinforced corners which helped keep the inside warmer while I was up in the High Sierras last week. It was 11 degrees outside and I was able to sleep inside the shell just fine (with a decent sleeping bag). My older, non Sportsman cap, was noticeably colder inside in the similar conditions. I'm sure not everyone will need or care about the insulation aspects of the cap.

I think I saw a post from you, Oz, that stated that the windoors might make scratching the side of the bed easier as you get things in and out of the cap. I took that into consideration when ordering this cap with the windoors and asked my wife to make a couple of big microfiber towels that I lay over the opening when the doors are open. The towels cover the side of the bed and keep the scratches and swirls away as I lean into the cap for fishing gear and such.
    Cheers!
