Well, I regret to say that Richloam was pretty much a bust. It was insane how wet it was.

On the plus side, we relocated to Citrus and had a pretty successful meet there. It was a lot of fun.

Here are the pics from the meet, first Richloam...

I couldn't resist this hole on the way out. Had to take a little Richloam mud home with me.

(Although, I should have locked the hubs first --I had unlocked them so we could head over to Citrus. Might be some video later of the green Taco clawing her way out once she had power to both ends.)

    20131006_121351.jpg

Then we went to Citrus and went from trails that looked more like rivers to a freakin' dust bowl. We still managed to find a few mud holes there though and the green Taco got a little dirty...

    IMG_0847.jpg

And Thomas' truck had to take a leak...

    IMG_0855.jpg

Didn't get much of Chris, because we decided to take a cool down break shortly after I remembered I brought my camera.

We also discovered the Bronco II blew an upper radiator hose, which necessitated a quick parts run to get it fixed up. The little bugger gave Mike problems pretty much all day. Mike was probably the only person more disappointed than me today. :D

Those are the pics I had. I think Chris and Mike might have some more to add.

While I was disappointed Richloam was too brutal, the Citrus portion of the day made up for it nicely. We had fun. Everyone had to get pulled out at least once, except Chris, who was perhaps wiser than the rest of us.

I wouldn't necessarily say wiser, I just hate mud. It was a good day and we'll all have to get together again soon.

    Like I said...wiser. :D

And yeah, Citrus was pretty fun. If it had been a little less dusty and had some water crossings, it was pretty much what I had been hoping Richloam would be like. We'll definitely have to do it again.

Heh, since that's your stomping grounds, you should make a meet thread like this one for it.

I could do that, but usually the meets in citrus were the big ones so I never bothered to. I'd like to get a small group together and wheel a place about 15 minutes north of the Wal-Mart. That is private property and pretty awesome.

    Thanks Mike. :D

And this was normally one of the tamer trails I had planned as a warm up. Instead it looked like a friggin' river.

I'm not really scared of some water, but even I was getting a little nervous if every trail was going to be like that, so we called it in favor of moving the meet to Citrus. :(

Geez that looked deep from that angle. Looked like my bed was only a couple inches from taking water over the gunnels. :D

3 1/2 hours later my truck is clean again. It's amazing the places mud finds to hide underneath the truck.

I know, right? Mine's still bleeding mud from the weirdest places. On the other hand, if we went out to Richloam and drove through some of those water crossings again, there probably wouldn't be any mud a'tall under there. :D

    Cool pics & vids!

Anyone get water inside their trucks? That's always my biggest concern.

Hope to see you guys at Citrus!

    Looks pretty deep!
Last time we went out there couple years ago, it was like rivers for trails as well.
    How did citrus look?
