Daytime Running Lights?

I have a 2013 Taco Double Cab 4X4 with the TRD Sport Package. According to Toyota's website, it should come with daytime running lights but my truck doesn't have them. So my question is should my truck have come with them? Anyone on here with a similar configuration have them on their truck? Seems odd that the website says my truck should come standard with them, but my truck doesn't have them.

 

The DRL on your headlight switch is for daytime running lights. Look at it.

 

I had seen that but it didn't seem to do anything. I just realized that your parking brake has to be off for the lights to come on. I guess that's why I hadn't seen them before. Thanks for the info.

 

^^ ran into the same problem. Got worried and thought something went wrong. I called toyota and they told me It will only come on if you unlock your parking breaks. Lol

 

Does anyone know if the 2013 stalk will work on an earlier Tacoma?...

like the intermittent wiper mod did???
