    true that and i had racing slicks :cool:. i think if you aired down your tires a bit you wouldnt have had any problems. no idea how wes didnt get stuck :eek:

    idk if i need a whole axle for the rear. part with the locker ;)

    edit: nvm im guessing your dumping the E-locker which if im not mistaken requires the axle swap?

    I've already said too much, not sure if just swapping the clamshell will work for you, mines an 8" rear and you have an 8.4

    whats the difference between the 8" and 8.4 besides the size of course. did one come on the sport and the other on a OR or something? sounds more expensive than just locking the rear

    All tacos come with an 8.4" rear unless you have the O/R package, then it comes with an 8" rear end. Someone might correct me if I am wrong though

    I've wondered that myself but apparently all the R&P's are the same size, the axle housing is a different size because the locker is integrated on the outside of the clamshell housing and the limited slip on the sport is inside. Then again I've heard too many different things about these rear ends to know what is what.

    anyone know how well the cooper discover s/t does in rain/snow conditions? thinkin about takin tex up on his offer but im not sure since i like the peace of mind of new tires

    Did great for me in Maryland for one winter and then in Houston until I sold the FJ. Do really well on the sugar sand of Assateague island too. It's a solid tire.
