Fkn POS Rav4 threw the code again. I got the P0455 last week and cleared it. Time to buy a new gas cap..

Fuck. I posted that link to pretty much every BS thread. Only problem is that now I'm gonna get updates from EVERY BS thread on Tacomaworld on my tapatalk. Finding my common threads is gonna suck dick. God damn it

I put fuel in it after clearing the brain..it did seem to whoosh out a little more than I recall. The cap doesn't seem to tighten good as it once did, so at 9 yrs old it's not out of the question.

 

The way you diagnose a sealed system is with smoke. They put smoke in system and look for leak. It won't necessarily leak fuel so uou can find it

Were it not that the cap doesn't seem as good as it once was, I'd go that route right away. I did check after filling it up and no drops..I know there won't always be but just a good place to start if it was that bad. If the cap doesn't do the trick it's off to the machine.

 

Theres a way to do turn it off I think. Either that or next time you're on TW on a browser select all of your subscribed threads and change them all to no notification

His name is Jason Sutter. He used to live in Boston. He trained all the members of Blue Man Group. I used to go on Thursdays to Wonder Bar in Allston to see him play. He is a fantastic jazz player.
