I did send a email to HR 2 days after I applied, but that was because I forgot to add my phone number.

I only talked to a front desk lady, and she said that that the manager was on a big project and didn't know when he'd get to the application.

I would cut a wedge to fit I between the angle and toe nail it in if that makes sense

 

I always butt one edge up to the other when forming angles. I've done a few corner closets like that and they are plenty strong. 45 degree angles though.

 

Both with equal angles is what I was taught. (Grandpa was a professional carpenter)
