Well, got a PILE of parts for my truck amassed over the weekend. Hoping to start knocking out some of the machining work that needs to happen to make them usable for me. Since I've pretty much at this point written off the idea of anyone actually buying my truck I'm moving forward with the front end. It's getting D44 based spindles, frame is getting shaved off all factory brackets and crap, new upper control arm mounts will be fabbed, upper control arms will be modified to use heims for pivots and I'm going to plate the outter surface of my front frame rails since I'm there and it'll be torn down anyways... After that I can finally put some real effort into shock valving and see what the truck is really capable of. I honestly think my current setup has the truck at about 60-70% of what it should be. This last little bump should get it to where I can actually run it 100% and see what it's good for finally! Don't get me wrong, the truck has always worked great, this will be the last piece of mind to allow my right foot to push a bit harder though.

Um... Unbolt the drive shaft and leaf packs and unhook the brake lines. Then just put the new rear end up there and hook it all up ;)

Almost that simple. More than likely you'll have to relocate the spring perches (especially since you are probably already SUA).
