That's about how much they were going for the last time I looked at new reg cab 4X4's (1998) boy was I sticker shocked to see that now they are not the $17,xxx that I expected but rather $22,5XX.

When I saw a local dealer had ALL new Toyota's at $3000 below sticker price I jumped on a new 2013 regular cab 4X4, 2.7, 5 speed (only options were sliding rear window and rubber floor mats) for $ 19,5xx, OTD with title and registration $19,8xx, no sales tax in Oregon. After seeing what others have paid I feel pretty good about the deal.

Since then I've added a hitch receiver, wiring, 17" wheels and GY DT's, and 4 Bilstein 5100's and Firestone Riderite airbags and still came out below the sticker price.:bananadance:

Picked up a 2006 access cab w/ 136k miles 4x4 2.7L manual from a friend who had it sitting in his garage for more than a year. He was rear ended with a bent rear bumper. Bald tires w/ 1 cracked rim, dented passenger bed, broken rear window and a messed up passenger fender. Frame is straight, just cosmetic. He let me steal it from him for 2k, paid off in 4 payments:)!

    Craigslist chrome bumper $25
    Craigslist 4 rims w/ 60% tires $260
    " Fender $60
    " Orig rear window $100

Yea. Actually I spent $50 on the T4 fluid and filters, I happened to be doing construction work at a Toyota dealership and was able to get fluids and filters while I was there, buddying up with the parts counter employees. Also had them check recall items, they performed 3 recall services.
The coolant, and other fluid were compliments of my neighbor who also happens to be a Toyota specialist :)
