    Hows your alignment ?

IDK why you couldn't stack another trim packer on the driver's side to gain 1/4" - 3/8"!

like another 5mm? i could make a 10mm packer at work next time I go back in.

my alignment is good thanks to my LR-UCAs, its all within factory spec.

I received my OME kit this morning, I plan to install it next week without aftermarket UCA and analyze my alignment numbers. If it's not good I will buy LR UCA. ARB Canada guy said that it will not be necessary to change, my wallet hopes that he is right...

Hey guys I have a full ome 886 and dakar lift on my truck. It's got a arb bumper sliders, full armor. I'm running 285/70R17 Duratracs on stock trd sport rims with spidertrax spacers and stock UCAs. My problem is that my steering wheel shakes pretty bad left to right while driving around 55mph,but then tends to smooth out at like 75mph. The truck tracks perfectly straight when u let go of the wheel, but tends to be a little "darty" when lane changes are made. I don't really feel a shake in the truck just in the steering wheel. I've had the wheels balanced 2x and the alignment checked 2x. The alignment numbers are all at 0 including caster as the shop said that's the best they could get. I've ordered camburg balljoint UCAs hoping this will resolve the shaking with getting some caster back. Am I on the right track or am I missing something. Any input would be appreciated.

You need caster to be at about 3 degrees, not zero. That's probably a lot of your problem. The new UCAs will definitely help you get there.

I don't think it'll fix the shake though. My truck has always had a bit of a shake, pretty sure it's my wheels just being VERY difficult to get a good balance on.

It's exactly the picture I was searching for. Which size of tire is mounted on the lifted truck ? It seems bigger than the rugged trail of the stock one.

Thanks Bjboucher, I'm going to wait until the Uca's are on and if the shaking is still there, I may try that roadforce balancing with the tires. I just finished the CMC today in the rain, so now I'll have the extra tire clearance when I get the new UCA's. Not sure what caster I'll get out of the Camburgs, but hopefully it will be at least 2.5-3 degrees with my set-up.

The Camb's will get you there. Good alignment numbers and a solid balance on your wheels and you should be riding smooth.

    Too few to list.
Just recently installed my 885X and my UCA's on a DCLB. Post measurements are currently 23 1/2" on PS and 23 3/8" with a toytec 1/4" spacer on DS. The CV boots are touching but barely. Hope it settles a bit. 23" would be perfect.

They'll settle. Damned shame we don't have manual hubs... Rubbing vanes on the cv boot wouldn't be so much if a concern.

So most guys are getting 2-3. I just read on ARB that it's only 1.75" of lift. I have the 1/4 spacer going in too but I was hoping for more out of my 885's. I should finally get the install next week sometime.

ARB's claims are WAY understated. You've got plenty of proof in this thread how much lift you will actually get.

As OZ mentioned a while back, ARB/OME says the 885's net 1.75 with 0-110lbs front weight. Throw on some skids or a winch and it would be more like 1.75" of lift.
