If I decided not to put the rings on the TRD Bead Lock, what should I use to cover the holes? The screws that come with it are too long cause it's meant to be used with ring.

Shorter hex screws or you can also use set screws. I would recommend that you take the wheel into a hardware store and match up the screws that you think will look best.

Also, it might be a good idea to put a small amount of blue Loctite on the screws to keep them from loosening.

Set screws worked for me 5/16" fine threads 10-24, 1/4" long. Ordered them at a Fastenal cost me 13 cents a piece.

5/16 and M8 are so close in size that if you get the 5/16 with 10-24 fine threads 1/4" long, they thread in and out with no play and no thread damage. finding set screws in m8 with 1.0 threads is impossible. ill get a pic up of mine in a bit
