I regret not joining the military, 1 for the experience and 2 for the GI bill. Ah well, live and learn.

    I'm saving this.

    Enjoy the long weekend!

Ahem. It's "meat" for you guis.

Hugh's and Jeff's sucks balls, and not just any balls. They specialize in sweaty sour milk-smelling grungy balls. Their car "wash" is horrendous and overpriced (took my RR there and they wanted $70) and their bar sucks equally sweaty sour milk balls. Drinks are very weak and, you guessed it, over priced. The ONLY thing going for them is their sandwiches. They're pretty decent but not worth the experience of going to that place.

This, but (and this is a BIG but) you must go to the donkey show. Do it once in your life. Once is enough.

Never understood the logic behind this either. Shiner charges a premium to distributors and thus to places that sell Shiner products, so the cost is passed on to consumers. Either way, its too much to pay for substandard beer IMHO. Michelob Ziegenbach is better, again, in my humble opinion.

    C'mon get on it.

    Gangsta!

    And they're also batshit crazy.

Yeah im learning the hugh and jeffs experience first hand. Ive been sitting here for almost 3 hrs. They always have a cute chick up front but bar service is lacking. The sliders and chicken strips are good but "somethings wrong with the tv so its only showing movie preview channels" 2.25 domestics and wells arent too terribly bad. Im waiting to see how the wash is. Outside of the cute chick at the front im the youngest person in here by 20 years.

    Three hours? Holy shit.

And your description of the demographics fits. It gets a little better on a Friday or Saturday night, but there hasn't ever been anything there worth risking getting a STD.

Tip Top in Seabrook is where I take my company truck every weekend and my Tacoma when I don't have time to wash it by hand. They're awesome.
