Re wired all the lights. Put the two middles on there own switch and same for two outers. Or All can be turned on at same time. Now just need to either upgrade to hid or get whiter bulbs for them

 

get HID, and get the jumper led’s fog light bulbs.


I want to change everything over to LED’s(brake lights, turn singles, map and dome light, reverse lights, license plate lights) also going to get try and do the fog any time this week end or next and maybe the blinker mod as well.

 

Already have all the leds in everything but fog.

The rear passenger's side window is retardedly easy to replace.

Anyway, this morning I call Toyota to see if my window is in, and its not. FUCK how did I know that was going to happen. Infact, they haven't even ordered it yet because the idiot lost my information and somehow it was my fault. So I called Jack Morris here in Memphis and they had an OEM like window in stock. GREAT! So I go down to Union to pick it up.

When I get there the window tech guy goes to pull my order and brings it back. They ask if I want somebody to install it and its an extra $50 bucks. Fuck that noise. I tell them I will install it myself. The tech looked at me and said, "Remember to call me back when you can't get it in so we can schedule an appointment to install it." I figured he said this because I was dressed well (I always try to dress nice, wore a pole when I worked on vehicles) and didn't really look like a mechanic.

A little background here for those who don't know, I'm an ASE certified mechanic in four different areas (A1, A4, A5, and C1). I've been working on vehicles for ten years now and have built two award winning turbo track cars. I've had a shitty week because Toyota somehow always fucks me over on ordering parts, my truck got broken into, and my insurance won't cover it.

So I got home, pop this window in the truck (four bolts) and everything works great. But the tech slighted me, and you just don't do that to me when I'm upset. My wife's family is close friends with the owner of Jack Morris. I call him up and explain what happened. I tell him I don't want the guy to get into trouble, but he shouldn't pop off and open his mouth when he doesn't know anything about me or any customer. Wayne agreed and said he would discuss it with the guy.

Moral of the story: Don't judge a book by its cover and don't make my day worse.
