your nitto TG mileage

i was wondering what kind of mileage(tread life) people get out of the P rated nitto TG. please include if u offroad or not, i dont offroad more than 2x a year so im hoping to figure out if they are the right tire for me that will last.
also do they come with a warranty and how do tire warrantys work?

wow...i think i might go with the LT E rating if there not that heavy to drop mileage.
but sorry i guess im an idiot and i forgot to be more clear, i meant mileage on the tire(like tread life )

 

I have P rated 265/70/17, I only have about 8k miles on mine so no wear is apparent yet. I've had them 8 months so far. I do mostly highway driving about 75% highway, 25% city.
I offroad on occasion, more than 2x's a year, but not every month.
I like mine so far, no road/highway noise, good traction wet and dry, have held up well to offroading/rocks....


Here is the manufacturer warranty info, all tires come with a warranty, but it does not cover road hazards and things like that.

285/60/18s here. They were already on the truck when I got it. Looks to be about half the tread left compared to new ones. Have put 10k on them & can't tell at all, look same as when I started with them. Mostly 70 mph frwy driving with a few light offroad adventures. Not e rated & gettin a little over 20 mpg avg with 4 cyl 5 spd..........

 

i have about 9-10 thousand miles on mine with about 2/5s tread left..butttt thats my fault ...they perform great on and off road though i have no complaints, ill buy them again

 

i have the e rated in 265-75-16 and there great could not tell any lost in mpg or hp

 

WTF...I have between 26k to 27k on mine and i've prolly got about another 4k or 5k left But i am an aggressive driver both on and offroad.

 

hey chris do u think the LT E rated one will last longer and is worth the extra money?

 

-I rotate my tires and check the pressure everytime I change my oil...I must've got a bad pair or something. I think the tires are great otherwise...

 

I have P rated 265/70/17 TG's , got them installed in January got about 25,000 miles on them , I get them rotated every 5,000 miles and the tread life is a little dissapointing. I only have about another 5-7,000 miles left on them. I cant really complain though, I have really pushed them to the limit.

Im out hitting trails and 4x4n in them every other weekend, and they have handled quite well in snow, dirt, mud, and rocks. Only had one leak once and that one had to be replaced after I ran over some huge screw on the freeway.

The Nitto TG's are ok for the price but I think I will go with the BFG MT's next time, even though they are a bit more
