    I don't know what my tint is( percent wise) but its dark. Some of the real pros to me is at night vehicles behind you lights do not distract as much with the tint. Which with it being real dark inside it makes the dash lights more of a distraction but I just turn my dimmer way down. It also makes a big difference to me on how hard the a/c has to work also.These Louisiana summers are hot and humid enough without the glass in the truck radiating it. As far as backing up my company( all companies I've worked for in the oil field) has a first move foward policy. It becomes a habit after 20 yrs or so but I try to make a habit of pull through parking if I can't do that I approach a parking spot with the intention of backing in. Take a quick survey, pick what object you should see in both mirrors, back In towards the driver side( so you know how much room you have), center up if necessary,check camera for distance from rear object and park. When you get in your truck you don't have to be so concerned wit what's going on in 3 mirrors just straight in front of you.

Flowmaster cat back exhaust, a cracked tail light that I fixed with some tape, all black grille, 15” Raceline 401B wheels, Goodyear 235/75/15 All Terrain Tires
    That's why I put tint back on. Might get my led foot out of trouble again.:cool:

    I know my next tint will be that new clear ceramic film. Then layer a less dark tint on top.

    Tint seems like a 4x4 poser thing to do. Night driving down FSR roads with dark tint is just plain dumb....... IMO. Probably looks cool getting groceries though.

    Depends on how dark you go...some people like a very light layer of tint just so they don't feel like they're in a fish bowl. No need to hate.

    I have 5% tint on my work car and it sucks! Forget about seeing anything other than dull headlights at night. It is so dark, when I get off work and start driving my taco around, I feel like my rear windows are rolled down and check two or three times because I fell like there is nothing there.

    I would never go that dark a personal vehicle...if it wasn't for safety reasons, my work car wouldn't be that dark either.

    Remove mudflaps, Plasti dip badges/ lower val/ and grill, Plasti dip wheels, 5% tint all around, Tinted tails and 3rd, 55w driving lights in rear, Blue LED light strip in bed, Blue LEDs in cab/ cup holders...
    Have 5% in the front and 3% in the rear, actually can't stand anything lighter. My daily commuter has 20% all around and I'm always fighting with the visor to block the sun, which is never a problem in my truck.
    Never have had any problems offroad because my windows are always either open or full of mud and crap (lots of cows here...).

    I'll be honest, if I ever had a cop do that to my windows I would wait until after the ticket was taken care of, then I would sue the cop, and the police department, for willful destruction of private property. Regardless of who they think they are, the police can only enforce the law, and either write you a ticket, or arrest you if it calls for that. They cannot legally touch your truck to damage anything at all when it comes to tint. For tint, all they can legally do is write you a citation. They can't touch your vehicle.

    :cool::cool: suuuure. lmao.

    In some states like Oregon, you can get a prescription for window tint. With no limitations on %. I run 5% and have for years. Only had to show my notarized prescription once so far. May be an option in your state.
