There is no manual DC Long beds. Only automatics.

And the Autos have the tranny from the 4.7L Former Tundra. :)

    Take that 6 speeds. :p

Both the 4.7L V8 and the 4.0 V6 make about the same HP (testing methods have changed in 2007, the 4.7 would make 235 HP by todays testing method) so I'll take the lighter engine with better mileage.

Yeah, but when I charge it, one less component I have to worry about.

Big tires, big lift, Lots of stuff's.
Manual, I drive in rush hour traffic every day twice a day with mine and its fine in the Tacoma pretty much leave it in 3rd and let it do the work. Now my wrx sucked in traffic constantly having to up and down shift. As for the truck Manual is the only way I see it.

+1i agree, my mazda speed protege boosted and all that nonsense was a mess in traffic, but the truck can roll in 3rd like ya said, and its just enough power to keep it going. but once you been drivin stick long enough, its second nature, i can see how inexperience can be a hassle, but i have never owned an auto and find it extremly boring and uneventful.

I agree, and this is the first auto I have owned. It's convenient for some things, but I don't get the same satisfaction of driving with a manual. Next time I'll get the manual and 4X4 :D

I believe this is because the auto is part time 4wd vs 4wd full time on the manual. my 2 cents
