When's that coming out? Right after the Tacoma gets the D4D that seems to get everyone's panties wet?

Havent posted in ages, prob the wrong thread but Im looking at selling my BAMF sliders for a 2nd Gen DCLB bolt-on that were built at 10 degrees (not the typical 20), dont have pics at the moment but can take some this evening, trying to see if anyone here has any interest as Id like to keep it local (within NE), was thinking $400 theyre unfinished as I havent taken the time to paint them and am going a new direction with step bars.

At this point I'm stuck here. My parents are still here and I know they'll soon need help like my father in law did, or in some way. Once they are no longer here, I plan to head south. Not all the way..love the heat but the reptiles and I won't get along.

I saw so many D4D hilux's over in Ireland. Our rental was a diesel focus. Honestly wouldn't mind a similar engine in my taco. It freaked me out the first day though. It was a manual, and every time i came to a stop it would shut off. I kept thinKing i was stalling it somehow. Come to find out it automatically shut off at stops, and started back up when you push the clutch back in. Pretty cool

I'm still waiting to see how the small diesel does in the Ram and Jeep Grand Cherokee. I know they aren't getting a Cummins but still want to see how they do. I wonder what the price difference would be between a diesel Tundra and a 'big 3' 3/4 ton diesel. I can't imagine the Tundra would be any cheaper and, if that's the case, I'd pass it by for one of the others.

I think in times like this he has more important things to worry about. Personally it concerns me more to have the shutdown, a govt who gives my tax money away to mortgage and auto companies who caused a lot of their own mess, and a generation who want everything for nothing versus a fkn sports team. Maybe they should use my fantasy football name, Trusty Rombones.

I'm gonna test drive the 2015 Titan and see how that 5.0 diesel is. I'm gonna stick with Toyota so I really hope they have a diesel! I have always loved diesel. I'd get an access cab with a regular bed and tow my trail rig ;) haha

I wish the Tacoma had a 4cy turbo diesel.

For a full size, I am guessing the diesel option is going to run $8-10K. Which would be out of my price range. Plus I like not having a truck payment :)

That's what I would guess the upcharge would be as well. For that kind of money, I'd at least want a 3/4 ton truck to show for it, not a Tundra.

Most trucks charge $6k for the big 6.7l diesels. Might be less for the tundy.

I'd still buy a tundra. Fuck your domestic vehicles

If your going to tow, a diesel is worth it, for daily driving its just personal preference.

Daily driving mileage is impressive for the engine size and vehicle weight. I'm already sold on this. They just need to make it and I'll be first in line

Just kidding. Maine's a great place to live, but depending on where you are and what your skill set is, finding a decent-paying job within driving distance can be a challenge.

Yeah but just for daily driving what do you really need it for? Don't get me wrong if you're gonna pull with it too you buy what you need.

The DD mileage is pretty good for a fullsize, my brothers f-350 gets 18-19 highway. That being said, he has a 2000 VW Golf turbo diesel as his DD that gets 50+ highway
