    At least I'm in the middle of both parties. I heard an interesting thing on the radio.

    "So we as the public get scolded and told we aren't doing our civil duties when we don't vote. What's that say about Congress, who are the ones telling us to vote, when they won't even vote for these things?"

    Sorta - I was the back up coach for my friend. Her husband travels a lot for his job so just in case he wasn't around when the time came she asked if I would be there for her.

    http://www.bobsredmill.com/gluten-free-pizza-crust-mix.html?&cat=15

    We used bob's pizza dough mix. It was really good, but we had to add a little extra GF flour to it to make it less sticky.

    I think next we are going to try out http://www.pillsbury.com/products/gluten-free/thin-crust-pizza-dough
    next. It's already pre-made.

    What's your recipe?

    I make mine from scratch with a combo of tapioca, potato and sorghum. Bob's sounds similar and maybe easier since the recipe I use requires you to do the yeast part separately. I haven't been disappointed in it though - always turns out good.

    I tend to stay away from the Bob's mixes since they always seem to sneak that garbanzo bean flour in them... :eek:

    Yeah, I noticed that too. Probably why I have been gassier lately...

    But they do taste pretty good. I wouldn't even be using those personally if the wife didn't like cooking things with flour. It would just be meat and veggies every day.

    Yep. Might as well throw it out there now...:eek:

    Felt a need to break a slight TW addiction. Found myself spending more time on line than with family and friends here with me. Then our oldest son, his wife, and two grandkids moved back up here and stayed with us for about six months before moving into a townhouse in Anchorage. Grandkids kept me plenty busy during that time...that is NOT a complaint. :)

    It was time to change out drive line fluids and spark plugs, so I came on here the other night to find some part numbers...decided to make reasonable return to the community. My absence was not meant to offend anyone ... still believe this is a great forum with awesome folks. I'm realizing how much I missed all of you and the entertainment on here. I just need to keep myself in check. :cool:

    :crapstorm::sorry: Lisa.

    :mad: ... long story short ... worked all last week as "Exempt from furlough" ... checked pay today, shorted 36 hours; we all got lumped in as furlough by some office above the base level. Supposed to get back paid...wonder how long that'll take. :rolleyes: Yeah, could say more ... but probably better let it rest. Back to those deep breaths ... ;)

    More like going into hibernation ... Salmon, Halibut, Moose, and Caribou in the freezer. Just about have all the toys put away so we can get both trucks in the garage ... waiting for the snow to fly. Getting back down in the 20s tonight.

    So hello again to the Garage. Hope you'll forgive me, and allow me to pop in here from time to time.
