Sick build man! I love would love to do a LT build but it would be pointless since I live in NC. No deserts here! lol

 

We'll we finished the cab cage about a week ago at 1 a.m. Man was notching the dash around everything a pain in the ass. Didnt know it at the time but the wire that goes from the alternator to the ECU stripped right at the plug so the trucks electricity went out while leaving town that night, Branch was nice enough to tow me to his house and let me crash at his pad till we fixed it the following day. Really happy with how she came out and how the truck feels 1000x more solid now with the cage. Didnt realize how the suspension would work much better without the flexing of the cab, drives like a different truck:

EDIT: just noticed the 1 interior shot, looks great! I'm getting jealous of everyone and there caged trucks!

 

took her out with a group of trucks and had some fun in occotillo this last weekend, very happy with how she felt, much more solid and safe with the cage:

well we bought 100ft. of 2" 1.20 and 40ft. of 1.75" 1.20 and were left over with like 4 feet afterwards. So just under 140 haha

yeah the mini finder had a mind of its own ha. It cracked at the bottom, so it's loose.

 

Havnt been on here for a minute haha. Most recent thing i did was race at Battle of Primm in my buddies Ranger in class 2000. I Saw RJ, Limbowski and TCYota there. As far as my truck goes I got a potential buyer of my Camburg kit and coilovers and gusseted spindles for $1800 (I think thats a steal). Anyways if that goes though in about a month we'll be starting on a 7" over full race kit/ engine cage with Johnny Branch at his new shop in Lake Elsinore on my truck. I still need to gather some more funds so I say a month haha

 

make it 3 weeks focker lol.

 

Did you end up selling your kit?

 

Sorry for late responses, I havnt been on in ages. I got a new full time job at a turbo shop called Pure Turbos and been working 45-50 hr weeks usually. Anyway I have not sold the kit because I opted to hold off as I buy a Tundra as my new dd/ tow rig. Been saving for Fox 2.5" coilovers, 3.0 tripples and 2.0 bumps and a 2.5" howe race rack and other accessories. Me, ESB Fabrications Mike, Bonzen and other fabricators from my work will be doing my race kit once we have room in my shop in roughly 6 months depending when we finish my other buddy's Toyota first. Till then im going to school for Jet motors and airframe and working at the Turbo shop/ off road- fab. Im summarizing here so bare with me haha

 

can you post pics of your bedcage with no tires, top view?
