    Finally got rid of the junk stock "skid plate" and replaced it with a beefy Pelfreybilt IFS skid. I will be ordering the rest of the skids next month probably.

    Detroit True-Track rear limited slip, steering rack bushings, shell, SAF decals, Wheelers 5-leaf & Bilstein 5100's, some nice LED lights from Chris, big-ass bumpers, older-than-dirt owner
    I broke the RF suspension off of a Mistubishi Montero in that area, in Bearwallow canyon. I had to hike out, ended up being almost 30 miles.

    The tow bill for that was almost 4 figures. :eek:

    It's a fantastic area; I've always wanted to go back with a reliable truck.

    Just looking for advice.
    I live in L.A. now and want to move to Alb. or Rio Rancho to be close to my family.
    Unfortunately I am struggling to find work and don't want to move there with nothing going on.
    I am a Graphic Designer with 10+ years of experience and would like to find work in my field.
    Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.

    I haven't heard of anything like that around my area... but Ill try to keep my ears open...

    My best suggestion would be apply for anything/what ever and start there? Also Santa Fe has a lot of industry that may need that

    Apparently all of the trails at the base of the mountains out here are completely different.

    Places that I used to be able to go on 33's are now challenging for people on 37's...

    My orders aren't up yet. As far as I know it was only new TDY orders that would not be approved.

    The end date on my orders is coming up in a few days though, so I may be having to pay out of pocket for the $65 per night room I'm in....

    Contact your RA to get the orders extended or your supervisor, they cant expect you to pay out of pocket if there going to keep you there. :D

    There's the issue, our RA tends to screw things up. Somebody that was here earlier in the year had to pay out of pocket for the last month because he didn't update her orders like she had asked. She got backpay of course when she got back though.

    Also, as of right now I have no supervisor. But another guy that is here with me and also from Whiteman is kind of like my unofficial supervisor. I talked with him about it earlier in the week and he said he would figure out and let me know. I'll see him tomorrow and ask him about it.
