I LOVE my DuraTracs! They are the best snowy road, non-studded (though studdable), tire I've run. "D" rated and I got just shy of 40,000 miles out of them! Could have gotten another 5,000 or so, but winter was close!

I'm on my 2nd set and will buy them again!:D

I'm not into guns. I am pro-gun rights though...just don't own one. I went to Rausch creek with my 2007 Tacoma DC and had a good time with my friends. I made sure I welded on Stubbs Rock Rails..... I needed them on the trail. I thought long and hard about getting a 2003 Jeep TJ Rubicon... I finally did. It's going to be primarily an off-road vehicle. I have put lots of $$$ into it so far. Is there no where to go off-road in Western NY or New York? Speak up if you have access to nice trails in the Fingerlakes area.

New tires, $614.59 installed. Guess we'll see how they hold up! Supposed to be a winter tire, but a harder compound than normal winter tires so I shouldn't have to swap them out come spring time.

well folks, the scouting for Dirt Mcgirt 2014 is going to start....if you have any ideas on good rds near Cortland, south of the cuse, Ithaca, binghampton, please let me know. This year I think we will have a BBQ at the end of the run, and instead of beer koozies I'll have t-shirts to hand out. Of course you should bring your koizies from last years run though. They will be put to use I'm sure! We had 18 trucks show last year, and 15 finish the whole run. It was a blast. I'm going to have it a couple weeks earlier to get a little sloppier weather in the mix. I hope everyone who came out last year will come again for year two, and bring some friends. Thanks. -Adam

thinking this one would be good. Branches off a couple times, has at least a mile of power-line access. One side is rock/gravel, other side leads to mud and small stream to cross. Logging road access depends on weather, I couldn't get more than a few hundred feet in one winter. lol

We might be able to spend the day there even with the mix of terrain, and no farmers nearby. ;)

In the spring on tug hill usually week after they run the snirt run bunch of buddies and me run the roads on the hill. Last time we made it little over a mile in 3ish hours due to the hills and all the roads covered in packed snow and ice. We all had a blast for going maybe over a mile in an afternoon. any are welcome next year.

I did the trail I posted with a 3" lift and stock tires. May have been my Kumhos at the time, I forget. Regardless the biggest problem was my hitch scraping on the water crossing (more of a ditch really).

Also, we have recovery straps and one or two guys with winches I think. We probably won't need them.
