    Hey guys, I gotta buddy who's wanting to install some 12" MTX Subs in the back of his DC. Will they fit? And if so where can he get a special box at?

    DOUBT IT....I HAVE TWO MTX 12s SITTIN IN MY GARAGE THAT I COULDNT FIT IN MINE.... BIGGEST THING IS THE MOUNTING DEPTH... ABOUT 5.5 INCHES IS MAX

    You've left out all the important information. Like WHAT subs they are and what their mounting depth is. I don't recall MTX making anything shallow though so your buddy might be screwed.

    You should have asked a question like this before he bought the subs. I would suggest the Stereo Integrity Mag. Very shallow for a normal woofer and it sound fantastic.
