Yeah, I seem to be getting a lot of that today

They likely use the same bulb, not sure if you've confirmed that yet or not. Usually it's the housing that directs the light to make it a driving or fog pattern though. I think you're stuck with what you've got, just a matter of what color you want.

Also, I'm not sure what you got from John, but I have a stock PIAA switch if you want it (that goes for anyone in this thread actually).

    I'd blame the electrician :D

What sort of problems did you have?

John gave me the whole wiring harness. But i cut it up because i already have a relay and switch wired. Annddd its not working. I dont feel like troubleshooting it now in the dark so i am ganna go back to it tomorrow. Apparently alot of people have issues with the bulbs blowing out. I read it may have something with the lights grounding themselves to the bumper and nylon washers on the mountinf studs will eliminate the issue. :notsure: i don't really know what i am talking about tho

Talked to Allpro today. The Currie 60's they have are 64" wide for the front and 66" wide for the rear. Measured in WMS (wheel mounting surface). The rear axle is only 1" wider than my stock axle. The front is 64" wide.

BUT! Allpro can have them made for me in any size I need! I was gonna go 4" wider than stock, so I'll get 69" wide axles front and rear. Woot

That sounds like a very serious design flaw if that's really what's happening!

Lol shit. There was a 20 amp fuse in the holder, maybe they were pulling to much power? :notsure: well maybe good thing i bought extra bulbs.

The fuse size doesn't matter until there's a problem. The lights will only pull what they require, the fuse is just supposed to create a failure point. Keep in mind, your headlights have 10A fuses for each bulb and separate fuses for hi and low (4 fuses total, all 10 amp).

John, do you remember if there was space between the housing and the steel opening, like could the housing have been hitting the steel causing the bulb to blow? There should be a little wiggle room between the steel and the housing. The problem with the bulbs blowing might not be electrical.
