I would say there's no way in hell you would rip one of these. There thick and heavy duty. I've had this one for 6 months now. Not a single rip or tear in it. Which is surprising considering the weight hanging off the back of it.

Luckily enough I have an uncle in warroad so I can ship to his house and make the 2 hour drive to the states and pick them up, then go back across, so I'll see if that saves me any money!

Probably not. I live right next to the border and get stuff shipped to a drop depot all the time. But when it comes to importing rubber, they will probably charge you the same duty and tax as discount does

When I ordered my duratracs it ended up being around 1300 with rims after getting them from down there, the tire shops in town are asking almost 1500 for just the tires. That's just my past experience though, we'll see what happens this time.

Yea I've heard of people trying this method but ending up getting screwed when they go pick it up at the border. The border wants their money to haha. For all the hassle of driving down to the border...gas, food for the day. I rather just wait at home and let UPS do all the heavy lifting haha.

I don't mind the road trips and my parents have a Prius so gas is 10$ Hahah. We usually just make a weekend out of it and visit some family.

We fit 4 33" MTR's into the cab of spoonmans truck. It was awesome.

But yes...I'd like to see 4 35's in a Prius. That would make a great commercial hahaha

Going to replace the inner and outer TRE's on Wednesday...drivers side has some play. But considering the truck has 275xxx km's on original TRE's is not bad. Most of those km's have been on 33's and a few with the 35's. I can't wait for no more rattle rattle!

That would be sweet if you had some interior pics! Like monte im planning on doing the same come spring. Making a plate and welding it and all that, not a big deal. the one part im still not sure on is where exactly do you cut? Did you draw out a shape on some already visible seam? or did you just go to town with a cut off wheel?

also, you just slapped the 35s back on the factory wheels? arent they a bit narrow?

Put your 35 on....Stuff it up in there and where ever it rubs, mark and cut. I didn't "go to town" with the grinder haha. The piece that I marked came out in one entire section.

So to answer your question, yes I drew out section of what needed to be cut:D

And yes I put the tires back on the factory wheels. There's nothing wrong with doing it... Tires just bulge more and it enables me to run a lower than normal deflated air pressure. I run 6-8lbs on the trail, depending on what trail it is.

They've been wearing just fine....25psi on the street seems to be doing the trick. As for the frame rub, I'd really like to meet someone who has 35's and doesn't rub frame at full lock haha. Orr...without running 7" spacers :D There's another gentleman in town running 16x8's with 315's and he rubs at full lock as well. Bad.

I think without doing major mods to the frame, your going to rub...

I just don't turn all the way now :) lol

    25psi haha wow thats crazy.

think if you have 3'' BS you good for frame rub..granted then you would be rubbing more on the fenders then.

I think it would feel weird if nothing rubbed or clunked haha. I'm so used to it now...

The skid plates creak with the odd "clunk". The locker clunks every now and then. Tires rub at full lock. All just adds character hahaha
