You are getting some good advice here. It does suck and nobody is saying it doesn't hurt. The thing is that most of us have been there and now looking back we see how foolish it was to dwell on it.

And I guarantee everyone here wishes that they knew then, what they know now!!!

    Don't dwell on it dude!!

Dude I know how that feels, there's this chick right now who's really sweet and really pretty and I want to like her but she's stupid. I mean flat out stupid. She's not like a dits, just like not very smart and it kinda shows when she doesn't have anything to say. She's got a great heart and is very very sweet and yada yada yada but I can't seem to get over the stupid thing...

Anyways, if you really want to get over her then go out with your friends and play the "my girlfriend just dumped me card"...gets chicks every time.

My friend was just about to...ahem...with a chick just like that and something told him not to, thank god, but it's chicks like her that make you open your eyes and see what's really out there and how much better it can get.

Lents, don't get chewed up over her, if she really wants to be with a jackass like that then she's not good enough for you.

This is also hella good right thar!

Don't think about her realizing and coming back to you...it could happen, it could not, I'm not gonna say either way, but YOU have to realize she's not right for YOU. Now go do what I said before and show her YOU are better than she thought.

She's stupider than you think she thinks you think she is. :p

And don't hate the ex. It's not his fault, nor is it his decision. She's the one that wants to be with him for her own reasons. It's not your job to understand it; just to accept it.

Free will is a funny thing, and just as she's free to decide to be with him, you're free to accept the situation, shrug it off, and know that you'll one day feel as strongly for someone else as you now do for her.

Meh. Too preachy. It's summertime -- go grab some beers and meet up with some young thing in the woods.
