I would love canada winters. One day I want to live in Alaska. And eat fish everyday.

Summer is nice but I tend to handle winter pretty well because of my beard and mustache growing skills.

We have 4 seasons in south louisiana. Almost summer, Summer, Still summer(hurricane season), and Christmas

 

False. Snow is awesome. Water sports in the summer and snow sports in the winter keep life fun.

 

Snow sports are awesome, but how much of your snow season is spent skiing/snowboarding and how much is working/school/driving/shoveling?

 

agree'd. Snow is awesome, extreme cold without snow.. sucks.

Its just as bad as extreme heat without water. Only you cant turn you hose on and get snow.

I used to go skiing 2x a week, but priorities changed and hardly any snow the last couple years changed that. In the last 2 years we've had like 20" of snow total so I got out skiing twice. Not enough snow to snowmobile.

Minnesota's state bird is the mosquito. Horrible by the water. That's why I stay in the water.

yes, up north and midwest the mosqito's are terrible at certain times. But down south they are bigger and almost all the time. In the more humid areas.. The trade off being there aren't quite so many..

try going in the woods in the midwest in the late summer.. yuck.. Love it but the bugs are crazy. Its like they throw a party because they only get a few months so they go crazy!
