Would you consider my truck rare?

Hey guys I have a 2002 tacoma double cab limited 4x4 with a manual transfer case. I have seen a few double limiteds 4x4s on this site but all of them seem to have the push button transfer case. Even my old 02 ext cab that was a limited had a push button transfer case. I was just curious if you guys would consider that a rare option. Thanks

I have no idea. My 98 had a manual transfer case and locking hubs. What is your transmission? That may have something to do with it, considering everything on mine was manual.

 

All 01-04 DC's are auto trans.

My trucks got factory leather seats and door panels I've got an auto transmition and a manual transfer case

 

True limited editions will have leather and color matched grill and fender flares (typically) and chrome door handles.

If I'm not mistaken you could order SR5 models with leather as a factory option. But they would have black flares and door handles

My DC is not a LE but has a manual tcase.

 

Tacomas were not available from the factory with leather. My truck is a true limited with chrome grill, chrome door handles, chrome front and rear bumpers, and color matched fender flares. I know that tacomas came with manual transfer cases but I have not seen one in a limited trim model

 

What package comes with color matched door handles and flairs?
That's what mine has.
I have a DC TRD 4X4, SR5, Pushbutton 4x4.

 

My 98 Limited (I know it is a ture Limited because I bought it new) has manual transmission and transfer case. I don't think I have heard of another until now.

 

I have an 04 Limited D-cab. It has the auto-tranny and a manual transfer case (no 4WD button on the side of the shifter). It has the Chrome grill, color matched front bumper and flares, chrome door handles, chrome mirrors, and chrome rear bumper.

 

No i don't think its rare.

 

Thought I read somewhere that 2 TRD packages were available. Off-road got chrome grill and bumpers, Street got colored grill and bumpers?

This is correct for the 2nd gen (05-13) tacomas
The trd off road got the locker, and chrome
The TRD sport got a limited slip diff, and body color panels.

 

Yours is the only other one that I have heard of being a limited with a manual transfer case.

 

Why is it so speacial that the limited package has a manual t case. Mine is a SR5 DC TRD OR auto and has it also. Why wouldnt they put it in a limited?

 

Well like in 4runners the limiteds only came with an electric transfer case so i thought the same applied to the tacomas
