Hey guys, Theres an Ultraguage group buy going on. Deciding if I want to get in on it. What do you guys think?

 

I have that at the end of the month and it will all be in vegas festivalling!

 

I got one but havent set it up yet...

 

Learned the hard way today that if its too good to be true then Its probably not true... I found 5100s on Amazon for under $100 for the front end at $78 for the rear... Well I had an epiphany while eating Jimmy Johns for lunch and remembered that the website said the list price was $155 for the front.. Turns out it was for a single shock and not a pair.. Called in and confirmed this.
Unfortunately, the rear had already shipped and so I have to return it once it gets here.

 

Yes, the price is per 5100. I realized that a while ago when I was looking for them. Why are you returning it?

Bluetooth OBDII adapter.

Works perfect.

Total cost for Adapter/Software, 30$.

 

If I had an android I would use this I checked it out on Josh's truck

 

Buy a cheap 7inch android Tablet and use that. You can find them for 50$ online. Doesn't have to be powerful, you just want more screen space to setup more gauges so you don't have to flip screens to see all your dials.

Either way, torque is fucking awesome.

Because for 2 if have to double the price so $350 for both fronts and both rears. And I can get them for $310 from downsouth motors.

 

Useless parts guy that was extremely short with me and had no technical knowledge of the parts he was supplying nor had the inclination of pointing me in a good direction to do so. SO, now I am on hold, for the past 10 minutes with toyota warehouse but I got the specs for a 5lug and am now getting specs to verify 6lug ring gear ID and bolt pattern.

Welp he couldn get me any info on prerunner/4wd tacos but I did get the info on 5lug. gonna call ARB now to verify. Pretty sad when the dealer doesn have this info readily available.

Welp here is a short scenario what I have gotten from everyone on this info. Toyota warehouse called and verified they were the same ring gears. ARB just wrote me this....

Which makes me wonder how they know to sell the right locker for the 5lug guys that want to lock the rear up and versa for the 6lugs? AHHHHHHHHHHHHH :runningcircles:

I am at a loss if I should buy the LSD and hope for the best or not waste the coin. Im not exactly made of money at this point in time.

EDIT: what does he mean by diff? Just the third, the guts, or the entire axle cuz I know the axle wont.

 

Don't do it man....last time I bought the LSD back in high school, I tripped balls for close to 3 days
