    I've tried all different octanes and ethanol-free. None of it made any difference for me. I got 15 - 16 mpg with all of them. It really surprised me.

    When my wife was driving our truck to Bellevue for work daily, she got up to 22 mpg. I regularly hit 350 miles on a tank.

    What up Gary!? Not much man, been pretty busy this year it seems like. Nah, I never got back with Brad on that tire gate project after the child custody shenanigans. What was wrong with my truck before? Haha well actually it's more like what WASN'T wrong with it? I got my real 3rd member all sealed back up, got my Camburg coilovers rebuilt, replaced the uni-balls on the UCA along with the UCA bushings. Now my alignment tabs are out of wack and looks like I'm going to be needing the Total Chaos alignment tabs :eek:

    Yeah, I thought I understood it. Guess noot :eek: Never took consideration onto the tire size. I never really looked to see what tire size the stock off road came with, just figured it wouldn't/shouldn't be off by much..

    I have those...I still ended up welding my alignment cams to keep them from moving. Just a little tack weld on each end will do it.

    Base size is something like 265/70/16. If you have 285s, you need to multiply mileage by 6.78%

    Yeah I think I'm going to have a shop tack weld them on. Was told to either try to bend mine back and tack weld them or buy a new set. I think I'm going to hit up metal tech and have them put on the new set and see if they can weld my spindle gussets for me. Been sitting in the closet for over a year now.

    Multiply 6.78 to the total miles on that tank or to the total per gallon for the tank?

    Miles the odometer clocked times 1.0678 is actual miles driven.

    Example, say your odometer says you went 250 miles but hasn't been adjusted for larger tire size.

    250x1.0678=266.95

    Mike's number of 6.78% was what he calculated for the difference in circumference of the tires he is running. That number is not going to be the same for everybody who up sizes tires.

    That's for 285 and just grabbed from a calculator over the 265.
    For 255/85, it's 7.448%

    Hey mike I found the specs.. I got the driver side installed but when I tighten the top bolt the inner shock spins thus not tightening it unless I grasp it.. any ideas?

    I can see a few threads on the top though.

    If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!

    You need to grab onto the top of the shaft :)p) with some vise-grips, and tighten down the nut. Having a ratchet wrench helps.
