I think you have it backwards. If you had that front locker, not only would it make it difficult to turn, but the locked wheels would cause the tires to slip and slide down the incline

 

You kind of said this, but this is very dependent on terrain and such. haha For example if it is muddy out and you slide into ruts the front locker helps a ton in driving to turn back out of the ruts. So when you are on that off camber you can locker the front locker an turn into the hill a little and it can help hold you up the hill a bit.

One good example of what Mark said is, try driving on an icy road with your rear locker engaged and just stay on the throttle a little (not mashed, just maintaining speed basically) when you take the corner. Your ass end will walk out on you almost every time, where as you won't walk out as bad if you are open. Granted it's all about driving style and just slowing down and coasting through the corners works well with the rear locked.

I've got the lift, gonna be getting the tires tomorrow, and i'd get the sliders when i sell my old truck but i've spent a lot of money lately ($500 on new BFG A/T K/O's, $40 on a torque wrench, $120 on my lift, and i'll be dropping ~$600 on a bed liner soon)

But i am getting in the dirt as much as i can.

Your plans will change is what im saying. Especially if you rush into to it. You'll wish you had done something else..or you'll go the "cheaper" way and then end up getting the better more expensive part anyways thus wasting your money when you could have just waited and save to get it in the first place.

5-600 here and there is ONLY the begining man haha they only get more expensive. Im at the point where just about everything i want now..is 3 grand or more as you pointed out..your bumper is a grand by itself..

tires lift and sliders is a great place to start. Now enjoy it a while and get a feel for things.

Yeah, S/C is $3500 armor is $$$ OBA is $$, and that's not including audio,lights, an misc. interior stuff.

The height, i thought taco lean was ~1/4'' difference
What's pictured is close to 3/4'' difference, and that's with a 1/4 of a tank of gas, nobody in the truck.

 

well your suspension is old hahaseems a bit much..but its taco lean either way..
