    I ran 285 duratracs and I really didn't like them. Too heavy, too loud. Pulled a lot on the highway and rutted roads. I love these 255's. Nice and skinny, quieter, better mpg, and when you air down, they pillow out wide like a 285 and grip like crazy. I love skinny tires!

    oh i've learned but how often am i gonna go mudding or trailing to justify living with skinny's? especially since if i do get stuck around here i still have to wait for susan to get off work . i am however going to test them out when i get them maybe mid november i might head down to TOR :spy:

    Me. I don't like mud. It killed my truck once in New Jersey. It got me stuck in NH in a downpour for 8 hours waiting on a $400 tow truck to show up.

    It kills your pulleys. It killed 2 alternators, a starter (to the point where I had to put the truck in drive and push it sometimes so that the starter would work because it was resting on a bad brush and wouldn't engage). It killed my AC compressor and PS pump. It ruined my interior. My interior smells like New Jersey. That is a punishment worse than a sledge hammer to the nads. It killed my wheel bearings. It killed my transmission by sucking in water. Mud cost me $7,500 off my resale value. Mud also cost me $8,500+ in repairs to date, just for the shit listed above!
