Not bad. Dentist this morning, flu shot and did some uniform shopping. I hate how expensive mandatory uniforms are

Only boots. You get a $300 allowance each year. Thankfully, not much of my stuff ever costs that much. So typically it goes to 25-30 of my annual haircuts.

 

Nope, you get "clothing allowance" once a year but it's not always enough. Luckily they issue us flight suits. They're nearly $250 a piece!

I still have 3 brand new flight suits in my closet.

No. But since I have to be in my dress uniform for the academy I am going to, I needed new stuff. I haven't bought a new jacket since basic training.

 

I think I have 4 right now. 1 hasn't even been worn.

 

30 haircuts? Eff that. I get like 10 max.

 

I have to get at least one every month, and I keep my hair kind of long by the military's standards. If you keep it short I can see how you would have to get haircuts a lot more.

 

Standards for us are a bitch. I have to keep it tapered. Can't touch my ears. Can't be more than an 1 1/4" in bulk. I get one every 2 weeks, give or take a few days.
