    not a bad idea probably. Have really good circulation though and really keep your head out of the plume.

    No wear on the seats. It made the fabric stiff as hell but it's holding up fine. Granted not too many butts are back there ever so that is something to consider.

    Someone had a thread dedicated to this within the last few months. Pretty sure he followed up and posted his fix. I'll try to find it for you.

    Ive never try to weld aluminum myself, I heard its difficult, there is a local guy here that can weld just about any type of metal that welds beer cans in his spare time

    All this talk about aluminum, I weld aluminum everyday at work with a 30A miller spool gun. If your tigging aluminum you're gonna need some practice but spool aluminum is pretty easy

    hmm.. would you say take it to a shop that'll switch them out and do an alignment for 200? ... i need an alignment anyway which is about $80 bucks...

    Mine is actually in the shop for both those things as we speak and they are doing mine for $150, I was planning on it myself but don't have time and some thief was farm hopping and cleaned out some of our tools and our neighbors sheds, so were lacking some resources right now

    Ah I tried doing a quick search but came up with nothing in regards of a DIY fix it thread & then a follow up. Hope you find it, in the meantime I'll use the (Pro Taper brand) Grip Glue suggested earlier.

    I probably won't fix it for a week or two since I'm gonna ditch the stock front speakers anyway and remove the door panel to upgrade to Alpines or Infinities

    TIG is hard in general..well..just take a lot of practice.

    you can spool feed with a MIG but MIG spreads a lot of heat on what your working on, why you do stuff in small beads to avoid warping. But on aluminum you really have to watch the heat as it'll warp much easier.

    TIG keeps the heat more localized so you can do long beads and do aluminum much better.

    yea but like i said. Its not a nice as TIG on aluminum. And you have to really watch the heat.

    Idk, thats mostly up to you and your own abilities. It's just a PITA. I didn't find it worth it to pay for someone to do it. But it took me a good 1/2-3/4 day wrestling with the bushings.
