    Yes, I sold my '13 Taco. :'(
I respect your individual opinion and great dog you've rescued, but dog parks will never be on MY list of places to go with my pitbull.

Keep being a good like ambassador and someone's light bulb is bound to turn on. That's excellent to hear. I just don't prefer them. No offense either.

    OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THAT FUCKING DOG IS SO FEROCIOUS HE'S ACTUALLY EATING THAT CHILD WITH HIS EAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A few years back, I was working on a traffic signal in Colton. I heard a scraping sound a ways behind me.
Turned to look, and a creature that some might refer to as a "person" was walking his Pit.
The Pit had a 2nd chain attached to his collar.
To the other end of the chain were attached two 50lb Olympic plates.

    Not bad dogs... bad owners.

My last dog (pit mix rescue RIP CHLOE) was a pulling machine. She couldn't enter any formal breed shows due to her unknown origins but she did pull 3,050 lbs on her best pull. She weighed 52 lbs. Pocket rocket...I miss that dog she lived to be 13.

No. This foundation I know rescued him. He was found abandoned. Took a few months to get him healthy again. He had burn marks all over his body. He is currently in a very loving home. And he acts like a puppy now instead of afraid. :)

Yes... and exactly the same principle applies to guns:

    Agreed.

My boy was the most gentle dog ever (and insanely brilliant)

Why the pouty face? PI is very well loved and he's still alive because of the foundation! :D

Oh and by the way, in regards to traits of certain breeds....

Newfoundlands and Black Labs are supposed to be water dogs, right? It's in their body structure (water repelling fur and webbed feet on the Newf) but for some reason, my Newf/lab hates water. Being a fetcher, he will never go into the water if you throw a ball into a lake or pool. And it's a pain trying to give him a bath because he high tails it outta there if he sees the hose. He's been like that ever since he was a puppy.

Can't really compare a dog to a gun. In the wrong hands, sure, both can be bad.
But while a dog is fully capable of making decisions and killing something or someone on its own, a gun on its own is just a piece of metal.

I think Pitts are actually treated worse because they are expected to be trained tough. Some are even disabled so they can't fight back. One young girl Pitt was found covered in wounds of various healing degrees, burns around her neck from a collar and all of her teeth removed. So she can't fight back, of course.

They feel pain like any other breed, me and Chevy were playing with a soccer ball, it hit him in the nose, he sneezed for like 5 minutes, poor little dude was getting too into it!

Here's my boy Chevy, a friend gave him to me because her dad didn't want him around anymore. We got him when he was 1 and now he's 5.

First night we got him he slept inside and my dad didn't get a chance to meet him before he left to work. He came back from work around 2 am and was met by Chevy. My dad said he stood by the door and had a low growl, my dad called my mom and she came and got Chevy and I guess once he realized my dad was friendly he started wagging his tail and wanted my dad to pet him.

I just tell everyone unless you've met my dog don't go in my backyard without me.

I've taken him to dog parks and the dog beach and never had a problem with him. Now Chevy will not get in water at all, when it's bath time I have to tie his leash to a pole so he won't run. I remember one time at the beach I got tripped by a wave and was under for a little and when I came up he was in the water and running towards me. I figure after that he would get in the water no problem, nope still will just be at the edge just watching.

This was after he was playing keep away from my mom's yorkie

    IMG_1984.jpg

That's actually my dog's bed but my sister maltipoo decides to sleep in it all the time, he'll force my pit to move sometimes haha

    IMG_1838.jpg

He's actually afraid of the little poodle because she'll snap at him, she pretty much despises him
