Hartnell has been injured all season but as soon as he is healthy he should be a beast. He dropped 7% body fat over the summer which is a SHIT TON OF WEIGHT.

Giroux sucked last year. Maybe he will wake up this year
I think he couldn't handle the pressure of wearing the C

Simmonds had his best year ever last year so once the other db's pick it up his efforts will get some points.

Timmonen is one of the oldest players in hockey. Dudes great but I think he is on his last season. He just can't keep up and has resorted to taking a ton of penalties for holding and what not to save his ass.

Read plays every position on O and even plays some D. He is a utility player and with no set lines and no one else working how can his efforts work.

They played their hearts out last night against AZ but it was not their night.

The new coaching staff is good, but 2 out of three coaches have limited NHL coaching experience. It's not an excuse because they were all good players. Just the facts. Obviously the locker room is an issue otherwise one of the best coach's would of never been fired 3 games in.

Id be happy if we just make the playoffs this year.

Also playing in Philly can be rough. The boo birds come out for every mistake. they were booing a ton last night and I thought they played OK.

 

Id still take Giroux over Kessel. IMO a good perhaps great two way center, better all around game is more valuable than a speedy streaky scoring undersized winger.

I would too, but Im just saying Kessel is what you get. Hes a consistent point per game top line player and is excellent defensively but he doesnt get the credit people people just say hes small and doesnt fight

Ya that was a punch but did you see all the game? Was brutal. The JVR call in the 1st was top 5 worst of all time and the Hall "high stick" that he grabbed and threw in his own face was terrible too.

 

If I had to pinpoint a problem, I'd say it was a basket with no biscuits in it. I bet if the Stars scored more than the Wild, they'd win.
