    Ok men. I've the $500 saved up and a stock 03 taco. What would you guys suggest I do? Suspension? Line-X the bed? Tint windows? Give me some suggestions for a new owner. It will see dirt,mud and elk blood

    Spent a grand on my last truck in 2005. I will but not immediately.

    My life coach says I should lay off or I'll end up in the sixth dimension of hell.

    I'd probably Line-X just to get rid of the drop in bed liner. Seems like the Line-X would be the most beneficial mod if you plan on hauling a lot of stuff.

    5100's up front and a set of AAL for the rear. you might even be able to squeeze in some shocks for 500

    What is the AAL? I'm a taco newb, and not at my computer. What shocks would you recommend ?

    Add A Leaf (for your rear leaf springs) I don't have experience in them, but most people go with 'Dakar Add A Leaf'. As far as shocks go, majority go with Bilstein 5100s, or 5125s (more sizes/longer).

    My vote is for Line-X especially if you plan on keeping the truck a while. That was my 1st mod & there are no regrets in that department!

    The day after I Line-X'd it

    I wish I had a before/after pic, but that was before I got obsessed with mods

    blistein 5100's up front, they are adjustable from 0"-2.5" lift
    Depending how high you want the back you could go with matching blistein 5100 rear shocks.
    AAL= Add A Leaf

    How much did that run you off the top of your head?

    Damn, I totally forgot about you living here. I'll shoot you a pm. My girl is leaving to Coeur d' Alene so I should have some time tomorrow. If not later in the week is cool. I'd really like to check out your taco.

    Haha. The Scow. Did you go to WSU?

    I think it was $400-500 for the bed and $100 more if you wanted whatever they call it where the liner doesn't fade. Yeah, I went to WSU
