Finally got around to mounting my CB mic clip. Moved my ultra gauge in the process.

You can see the switch panel there too. Got it vertical. Just waiting on switches from OTRATTW. Placed an order today but can't get through to them to pay over the phone.

Hah I can't stand having a dirty interior, but that's just me being OCD about being organized

1.) Where did you get the mounting bracket for your CB mic?
    and
2.) Do you have a picture of behind your UG? I like that location a little better than mine here

I got the clip at west marine. that's where I work if nobody has figured that out yet haha. I buy pretty much all my truck stuff from them. Wiring, fuse box, lights, etc.

I like this one better than the metal one my CB came with. Just looks better.

I used some scotch HD Velcro. I love this stuff. I wish it was black but whatever. I never take the gauge off anyway.

Wait, what? It's $10 shipping to you? That should be shipping from California not Alaska...but any of the stores in Washington should have them in stock. I only paid $2

Brutal man. I'd buy one and ship it to you but it'd be about the same cost unfortunately. Also, excuse my terrible misspellings and other odd use of the English language. My iPad has a mind of its own most of the time.

Nah. It's not a shiny screen so I don't get much glare. And it's so low in our trucks I think that helps too. I can't see it with polarized sunglasses though. But that's true on most screens. I do run it at full brightness fwiw. And I turn the display off when driving at night so it doesn't blind me. You can still control volume and skip songs with the buttons which I love.

Yes I highly recommend it. Most pioneer double dins I've used are great. Reasonably priced and super easy to use. And thanks for the compliments.

I meant to install a 12 position fuse block but couldn't find it. I bought it months ago. So I put in the 6 position one temporarily. Only have one spot open

...awesome. Yeah I suppose the double din area in our 1st Gens is a good place for minimal glare, mostly all the complaints on TW have been from 2nd Gens. The tinted windows should help too

Yep! I'm picky about that kind of stuff and it doesn't bother me one bit. And I have either a ton of sunlight or none at all. So I experience both sides of it lol.

Haha that you do. Well I'm excited, it should be here Monday. I'll tear everything apart and see how easy it will be to install. I'm really hoping to get it up & running by Monday night or possibly Tuesday afternoon :goingcrazy:

Super easy if you've done one before. Took me about 30 minutes after I took the dash apart. I also installed a parking break override switch behind my e-brake handle in that little cut out. I don't ever watch movies while driving but in app mode some don't work if you're driving. So that's why I put it in.

    Never done one before
So the parking break override makes it so in app mode all the apps work?
I also heard some guys have the dimmer wire cut so it's always brighter... err never dims.. same thing.

Also, are you using an iPhone (if so, which one) and does the head unit come with everything needed to install into our double din slot & have a hook up to a iPhone?
