It's alright bud. The thought is what counts.

In other news, after making a (WxL) (4'x7') box in my apartment to simulate the space the Ayer RTT would provide, i came to the conclusion that it's bigger than the twin size bed i've been sleeping in my entire teenage life. I surely dont need anything bigger than this. + if a chick tags along, she's got no where to hide.. :anonymous:

I bought a Honda generator early this year and JLee still has my bed rack and RTT to ship hopefully soon. Then the Mrs. And I plan on doing some cold weather camping, complete with electric blankets! Haha, I've spent plenty of my time living on the ground and over a year of my life in a tent during deployments... Time for comfort and options.

I completely agree! I've heard stories about the conditions during Deployment, i dont want to bother with that.. if i have to funds to not "rough" it out in the woods, then im going to be comfortable.

Electric blankets? that sounds comfortable as hell during a cold night..

Make sure ya post those pics! :p

In other news I am in the midst of planning a trip west, a road trip if you will, this summer since after my 2 weeks at drill are required, i may as well enjoy the summer a bit.

I'll have my ARB,RTT, and hopefully some more amenities by then but it's in the brainstorming phase now but if anyone has suggestions of some good places to travel and see that'd be great!

    Another update:

Went to go visit my bud chad in Cola to get started on my sliders and Bed rack

Here is is at the "shop" doing work on meh sliders. :turtleride:

I also removed my step rails since im selling them anyway, no pics of this.

Also finally installed my Cb. No drilling and it still looks damn good.
:p I havent been able to tune it yet, but i did manage to hear the indian folk having some conversation, im excited about that.

Went to the local junkyard to gather a potential donor for my OMD style custom leaf packs.
    My luck: the perfect donor.

Two very stiff leafs were recovered from each of these. >.> Taking them off was a pain in the ass...

After fighting for about an hour or so and with some "liquid encouragement" to keep me going i was able to get the two leaf springs from each of the set of chevy leaf springs.

    And Boom:

My Opinion: Plenty of Arch still left. It didnt budge under my enormous (155lb) body, meaning it was gonna be a stiff mofo, but i got a truck so meh..

I am also in the process of ordering a suspension lift and will hopefully install all of it at the same time, im positive if i put those springs on now i'd be the baddest "stinkbug" in town...

Also tonight went wheeling for the first time, at freaking night. It was great seeing what my truck could do in practically stock form.
no pics because i didnt take any lol

    :turtleride: till the next update.

Thanks Adam, She's coming along. It was my first time grinding... Chad was doing something so i sped up the process, i admit it wasnt the safest equipment(or lack of equipment i should say) but it all worked out this time.

    *cough**cough*
    [IMG]

Not a bad place/way to mount it...but on your bed rack would be even better. I'd leave it where it's visible. You never know when someone else will need it - and I don't have a problem with someone taking mine if there is really a need for it.

And I'm already on my 2nd one...
(my friend was being a genius playing with gas and fire in his pinestraw-covered backyard...)
