    Nothing serious
I've had my 2008 Tacoma for 8 or so weeks. For the most part, I have enjoyed it, though I look forward to getting into a larger truck in 5 or 6 years, be it a larger Tacoma or a full-size truck.

congrats and welcome! I was in the exact same boat as you. I'd only ever driven used cars for 15+ years, never had a brand new one. Until I bought my DCLB...it's almost been a year now and I'm still completely in love with this beautiful piece of art. Not a day goes by that I don't sit and stare at it for at least a little bit every day. I'm sure you'll love yours as much as I love mine. And enjoy all the mods in your future! :)

Hello y'all. Just joined the forum at this nocturnal hour. I have left many forums due to users being immature and always getting butthurt...Anyways, got my new 2013 Tacoma V6 4x4 TRD Sport just one week ago and loving it. Already got a bed cover and a chrome exhaust tip for it. For those wondering about the bed cover, I do a lot of fishing and would prefer if my gear was covered and not seen by the public eye. Even though I can't lock my tailgate or cover, it's just better to have a cover. :p

    Hey everyone,
I've bought my old man's 06 regular cab 4x4 taco. It's not new but it's new to me so I'm pretty pumped about it. He gave me an awesome deal 5k under blue book and it's only got 65k for mileage. I live in new England and the winter is coming soon so I can't wait to bomb around in this than how I used to slide around in my sedan! I hunt and fish so hauling a deer off will be a little cleaner and easier this year (fingers crossed). Excited to join this community. Hopefully I can find some tips for some upgrades to my vehicle. My dads all about simplicity so this has literally no options but 4wd and the mat for the bed.

    Hey all,

Loved Tacomas from afar for years. Finally had the opportunity to get into a new vehicle and went all out on a super white '13 Limited. Really excited to get in and tool around a bit - mainly looking to focus on acoustics for now. Love the forum, glad to part of the community already.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
i looked at one the other day, pretty nice! but the softex interior sure does smell bad new lol

Haha ya it was pretty intense - worried me a little. Less than a week of a/c and opening of doors in normal use has it tamed. First time I get in in the afternoon after work it still has a very faint smell but I foresee that being gone in a week or so.

Just finally signed up, don't know why it took me so long. First new vehicle I have bought and it just had to be a 2013 Tacoma 4 dr. TSS (mainly for the rims) since I'm not gonna be taking this in the woods quite yet I didn't think I needed 4 wheel dr. I have owned toyotas before (corolla and a solara) and i loved the quality that they have. Now i have taco fever and i wanna do all kinds of things to black betty (that's the trucks name). I'm also looking to buy an older model taco with four wheel drive to be my hunting/mud/fun truck. In the two months I have had Black Betty I have put dual flow master exhaust and blacked out the logos. Next is the darker windows and lift kit just to give her that aggressive look to go with her aggressive sound. Looking forward to talking with all of y'all. And if you're a TIGERS fan GEAUX TIGERS!!!!

Hi . Great forum with lots of good info. I bought my 2013 DCLB 4x4 sport a few months ago. Just ordered an Icon stage 1 with allpro rear leafs and cannot wait to get it in this month.

I hope the lift with the stock wheels and tires doesnt look goofy. I saw a thread where someone is having a hell of a time selling their stock set up.

Any idea how much I can get for the stock suspension?

    thanks.

Just want to give a shout out to all the users who helped whenresearching for my buy. I’ve even used the forum to help build my father’s in-lawsTacoma. We recently installed a Volant cold air intake w/ magna flow exhaust, she sounds mean when you get on the gas. He also went with the 3" toytec5100 lift with 285/75/16 wheels.

Ps. For all you Instagram users, check out TacomaDaily. It’s a new account and would like to get some Tacoma’son there. Any upgrades, installs, final projects, trail pics and anythingrelated to Tacoma’s.

1381478_10200360592809753_2075698577_n.jpgAwesome truck man! I just purchased my first brand new vehicle and Toyota! I love her. I got the 2014 Double Cab 4x4. She is fricken sweet. This is the first time I am not worried about breaking down. My Cadillac CTS was just GARBAGE! It was in the shop every single month. I actually had a former engineer for GM tell me to get the Tacoma because of the quality and reputation they have. I love this truck it is perfect for what I do. Not too big and not too small!

    Hello

New to the forum--just bought my second Tacoma. I had a '99 Xtra cab 4X4 2.7L that served me well for 11 years.....270K miles later I had to say goodbye to her.

I just got a 2008 Tacoma Access Cab SR5 6-speed manual with 62K miles on it for a great price. Really digging the extra power....it's also the nicest vehicle I've ever owned. Not planning many mods for now--maybe a higher flow air filter and I definitely need to get a canopy for my canines.

I bought a 2013 double cab 4 wheel drive TRD Sport, Pyrite Mica in May. I replaced a '96 4Runner that had 276,000 miles. I just tinted the widows last weekend, went 35% all around except the windshield. This seems to be a great forum, lots of good info and great discussion and a little BS.
    I'll post pics later.

Well, I signed the papers last week for a brand new truck...

Wanted to get a 2013 to save $, but after signing, the dealer couldn't produce a single truck in the configuration I wanted (not 1 in the entire country).

So they're getting me a 2014 for the same price... :D

Tacoma TRD double-cab, Alpine white, 6spd/short-box, w/black heated leather Katzkin seats

Should arrive in ~3 weeks from Mexico. Pretty stoked !!!
