I just saw this post. I did my 98 w Dupli-Color Bed Armor about 3 weeks ago. I did flares and lower quarter of doors, rockers. I sanded it all w 180 3M by hand. 20 min prep on all. I taped off original two tone paint line from factory (was grey). Sprayed w heavy first coat, blotting w a rag any runs. Let sit for 30-45. Applied 2 more coats. Put fender flares back on truck looks great. Really durable finish holds up to Alabama gravel roads, some never ending. MY driver door hinge pin bushings are shot, due to door being opened and closed 50 million times (new ones on way). The door dragging caused small place of cutting/peeling of product. one heavy spray to specific area, blotted w rag, can never tell it happened and also has held up.I would recommend this for anyone who sees even the least bit of dirt, it sprays clean w a hose. side note: my dad liked it so well, he helped sand, we're doing hie 2001 TRD next weekend.

I'll be interested to see how it holds up on your flares. Our 98s have fiberglass flares so I'd assume using a self etching primer would have increased the mechanical adhesion.

Try to check back in and update how the Bed Armor holds up on bare fiberglass.

Does this look correct. Last time on the stock OEM carrier bearing the race or something was frozen on to the shaft. We Welded the puller to the part we (had to?) get off according to DIY. (Only welded because my pullers suck). Now it's bad again and I didn't even have to use my puller and was wondering if I fucked it up.
