I'd move that 4x4 conversion a bit higher on the list bud haha

Well, my original plan was to do RTT and rear suspension, then front suspension, and then armor. But at this rate mid travel may be after the RTT and armor.... Haha

New tacoma, as in 2nd or 3rd gen?
I couldn't own a 2nd gen, after driving my sisters 08, the steering wheel is to low (it's in my lap on the highest notch) and the rear view mirror is way to low (easily fixed, but still), plus the interior room VS how big the interior is.

    Agreed on that whole post.

I think I've pretty much came to the point that I'm okay with it being sluggish. I'll regear for 35's and that will be it. For a while at least.

4x4 would be great but then I'd have to replace a transmission that's enver had a problem and I have another truck that's 4x4. But it'll get about 4 mpg

Depends on what they have out when I decide it's time for one. I'd drive a 2nd gen. I've driven my dads and like it plenty enough. In a perfect world I want a 2014 doublecab long bed Tacoma SR5/TRD Sport in Black.

It's either a new Tacoma or a Duramax. If I could find a really low miles 05 double cab limited/TRD off road Tundra I would be all over it!
True, I forget you have that other truck as well. You should sell it and put the money towards the Tacoma ;)

Tacoma goes before the other. But I would take it to like California so I'd never have to see it again...

If i'd have gotten a 2nd gen (it was on my list, until one night while watching TV and surfing TW i decided that i wanted a 01-04 DC 4x4 TRD more than anything) I'd have gotten a TRD sport.

I can't wait to see what the new generation of tacomas will be like.

    Haha

I got rid of my 96, and regret it every day. I will not get rid of this one unless it burns to the ground. The guy I bought it from had to sell it because his wife wanted a new vehicle for the kids... I felt bad for the guy because he really liked it. I'm not going to do that haha

I don't want to see it, with the way all of the new model Tundras and 4Runners look. I'm worried they're going to mess up the Tacoma too....

Exactly! They know they don't have to do much because they sell their selves, which is good and unfortunate...

Unless they "revolutionize" the looks of the tacoma to look nothing like the tacoma.

In other news the chanters are back, and they're on the hill across the valley.
Slightly more at ease since mom and dad are back, and i know where they (chanters) are now.

^that's what dad's looking at, he wants a 4 door (he'd prefer a crew cab, but he said he may settle for a suicide door in the back) 4x4 tundra with the v8.
