I heard rumor that the virus is evolving. That's why Rick took notice to the walker with the bloody eyes. Same thing happened to Harry Potter looking kid in the end.

If it was someone enticing, then wouldn't it have gone noticed? Seems that noise would be the thing drawing in so many, and that wouldn't have gone unnoticed in the camp. I think it is nothing more than just more zombies in the season. The camp is making noise and all that, and the runs in/out of camp attract walkers - hell, that bike of Darryl's can be hear a ways off. So, to me, its a combination of the noises the camp is making and not someone drawing them in. Could be wrong, though!

    hmmm...lots of questions.

Obviously disease is a big deal now in the prison. Tons of people living in close quarters, tons of dead bodies with rot and disease on the fence. Darryl grabbing a big bowl of pig slop, sucking on his fingers, and then shaking hands with Harry Potter's stunt double obviously got that kid sick, but why didn't Darryl get sick? (duh, can't kill off the fan favorite). Who's bating the Z's at the fence? Where's da guv?

    **possible spoilers**
Saw on Talking Dead that they're introducing three more characters from the comic book this season, including Abraham. Seems like we're getting too many characters now. I'd really like to see more of Rick and Tyrees's friendship play out on screen, which really hasn't even been touched on.

I could have sworn that I saw on some previews that Rick and Tryese where fighting...and that Tryrese had a swollen eye.

As far as diseases go, remember that they have little to no medication, and the simplest disease can turn serious quick. Am no so sure as the zombie virus evolving as the lack of medications, as in antibiotics (although those only work on bacterial infections), etc. Hell, the younger/newborns would have no such immunizations.

I am not so sure that the pigs were suffering from swine flu, either. I think it's something else altogether. According to the CDC, swine flu causes very few deaths in pigs. Also, according to the CDC, swine flu has a very limited, if any, spread as a result of human to human contact. I know, had to look that up cause the wife and I got into an argument about those damn pigs.

That said, the boy who died and turned in the prison didn't have bloodshot eyes like the zombie outside the wire. And we all know that flu doesn't cause bleading from the eyes...

It is pretty wild to watch this show and think about how even the smallest things can turn so serious!

My vote is the kids are feeding the walkers. Trying to get a closer look at them. When they were playing along the fence waving at them they didn't seem scared at all. Now for the kid in the bathroom his gave could have been messed up when he fell hence the puddle of blood around him.

Some of this & some of that...
I'm going with the virus evolving. It seems that the only thing that could link both pigs (inside and outside the fence), the bloody eyed walker and the kid in the prison would be the water supply. The scene where the boy dies shows a little too long of a shot at the water he was using and the shower head itself. Foreshawoding perhaps..? After watching a few interviews with the main characters, they allude to a new threat that is more terrifying than the walkers and other people. Just my .02...

Another question was why were they making that town Macon such a big deal?

My guess is that's where they think the governor might be

I thought on one of the previews was that there was supposed to be a survivor group there... However, on the previews I did hear Tyrese mention to Michone something about the Gov... But she was studying Macon before he mentioned that, which really doesn't mean all that much since 6 or 7 months passed since the new group arrived.

Michonne has been out trying to find the Governor , that's what I took from that scene

It sounded like she had been away from the prison for some time by everyone's comments

You may be right, although I am still unconvinced on the virus bit. If so, then why weren't other animals affected? The shower scene was interesting - but was that a potable water vat or just a shower vat? Did he sneeze or something into the water supply? He said he was going to vomit, but no flu makes you do that...which leads to it being something else. If that were the case, maybe it was some kind of poisining? If it went into the water supply, then that could cause a ton of problems.

I am just not sold on the zombie virus evolving into something more deadly due to the fact that everyone has it. If that were the case, then they all would be dying soon...

Makes sense I got the same thing from it that she had been gone for a while, I just didn't know exactly why
