    I had my 285 KM2 spare in the cargo area along with 40lbs of loose tools. The tire was laying down, when I stopped it was standing up. Still have tire tread prints on my headliner.

    From then on, I have ALWAYS strapped the tools and my spare down. It makes accessing my recovery gear and some tools a pain unless I untie the spare, but I don't wanna get clocked by a 65lb spare tire

    This is why I can't wait to get a swingout rear bumper to get my spare out from under the frame and not have to have it in my personal bubble so-to-speak lol

    Well flyboy.co2 is making me a rear high-clearance bumper this winter anyway.

    The stock rack is useless. I am planning on getting the full roof rack from www.whitsonmetalworks.com. GREAT prices for his stuff

    Plus I don't like putting stuff on the rack for 2 reasons. 1. It increases top heavyness. 2. With my back the way it is, I struggle to lift the spare into my cargo area, never mind the damn roof lol
