Ok so am i missing something..Wife bought me some fog lights for our 1 year anniversary. I went to install them and the fogs seem loose and i am afraid they will fall out. is there an adjuster that im not seeing or is there something im not doing right.

    1. Popped insert out.
    2. put fog light in.
3.placed the adjuster round plastic piece in the correct spot..

Also wanting to order a fog switch from http://www.otrattw.com/

    1. Which one do i need? i saw a lot of options for the switch itself.. VVPZCZL-1ZL
    2. What color better matches 2nd gen dashes amber or the Red

The factory fog lights attach in 3 spots. There is the adjuster at the bottom that snaps into a hole in the bumper, then there are 2 tabs, halfway up the lamp that need to snap into holes in the bumper. Sometimes, the adjuster piece at the bottom can take a good bit of pressure to snap in place.

As far as the switches, the amber color matches pretty well but is a little lighter than the factory orange. Any single pole, single throw switch will work for fog lights.

Ok so i got them in place.. now need to wait till dark for alignment.. wired everything up and have them working so when i turn the corner markers on they will come on with the switch on.. (ebay switch sucks and doesnt fit like the website says but i kinda figured that)

So on to the switch part of the question

http://www.otrattw.com/proddetail.php?prod=VVPZCZL-5ZR is the switch im looking at now.. you said any SPST would work for the fogs..

is this one?... V1D1GNNB Amber Upper independent/lower dependent.

Will this work, and what is the difference between independent and dependent, is that when the Lower is on when power to it and upper comes on with the switch on..or vice versa

That switch should work fine. The amber is a little lighter than the stock dash but red is darker. Independent means you can wire the LED independently of the switch position. Dependent means that LED will only be lit when the switch is in that position. Upper independent means you could wire the top LED to the dash lights so that part would come on when your lights are on, same as the rest of the dash. Then the bottom dependent LED would only light up when you turn the switch on and power is running through the switch.

OTRATTW makes nice stuff. I have 2 of their switches and really like them. Just so you know, they won't just press in, you'll have to dremel the hole a bit to make them fit. The stock locations have slots to accept a specific switch for a given location. The OTRATTW switch is a box so you have to file down the slots. You don't have to mess with the face of the dash, just the returns if that makes sense. If you have a dremel, it's a 5 minute job.

I love these switches. However, when I look on OTRATTW site I see a lot of confusion. It is on me I am sure.

    What do the options mean?
    Upper Dependent Lower Independent?
