Well had to put one of our dogs down this morning.

Yeah i do too! but not the first dog i have had to do that to. also she was 14 years old so it was not really unexpected, also the past 2 weeks she has been getting worse and worse.

 

Yeah at that point you Kind of have to do it for their sake. My last dog had to be put down after he had his hips completely atrophy. We had to hold up is hips so he could walk, go to the bathroom, etc.

 

Looking at buying a set of AsianAnts retro's and the guy that I'm looking at buying them from paid the extra for the Phillips 85122+ bulbs. Anyone know why AsianAnts charged extra for these bulbs? I'm just curious what made them special...

Why not do retro's yourself and save the money. Its easy. Hell Gideon even did it.

 

Cost me over $300 to buy the parts to do it. I can pick up this set done by AsianAnts that does a hell of a lot better than I do for under $400...

I'm actually gonna part it out. It's got a bent frame. Someone rear ended me and pushed it in a lil bit. It ain't bad and can be straightened since its a unibody but I don't wanna sell it as a whole with it fucked up like that. It's got a built motor ........ B16 Gude Racing head (port and polish, racing valve grind, stage 3 cams) ported intake manifold, ported throttle body, custom 4-1 race headers dropping to a 2.5" straight pipe with turndown .... B18 block, bored .60 over, Eagle 12.1 pistons, Eagle rods, Eagle crank shaft ..... All wiring converted to OBD1 with a s200 hondata ..... LS trans with a LSD, ACT stage 3 unsprung 6 puck clutch, ACT 7.7 pound flywheel, short shifter, weighted shift knob ...... Nuespeed race coilovers all around, Brembo cross drilled/ slotted rotors all around.

 

ok guys got a question.(gid you will probably have a long post on what to do) but all you should have something to say.

so for a year or more i have been wanting an older 4 runner most likely a ’85 to ’87. I know the ’85 would have removable top, which i want and would have SFA. I know ’86+ has IFS but still has removable top up till i think ’88. or should i get something like an early to late ‘90s runner? want something i can off road hard and not really care about damage or breaking parts and not having something to get around. Altamonte goal would be to maybe have an stock SFA or do a swap at some point, and have it run on 35” maybe 37” and build a front winch bumper and rear tire gate. one reason why i have thought about a ’90s runner is little bigger engine to turn the 35”s or maybe 37’s(probably at a later date when i could do a SAS, but also to help carry the extra weight) or get a ’85 or so and at some point to an engine swap for a little more power.


If i could get one, i would probably not lift the taco, maybe just do some other stuff like roof rack, just keep it on some kinda A/T tires, also not off roading it hard would keep it in a little better condition. I don’t want to go into lakes like gideon all the time or at all in the taco, but a runner i would not mind as much. I want to keep the taco as long as i can.

 

Wait wait wait, so you're callin me a bitch cause I won't wheel my taco so I can keep it nice and I wheel my jeep as a beater and you're wanting to do the same but just get another Yota? Riiiiiigghhtt.... of course I rather wheel a 22r but the jeep was already at my house and didn't move so I much rather take that, build it, and wheel it than find an old Yota in good condition.

 

lmao. it’s part of me just give you shit for having a jeep really. I will still off road the taco some and use it for hunting, so i’ll still probably get rock sliders, some skids, and maybe front bumper after i can get a roof rack and stuff.
