I buy my pass at Westmorland gas station or Malcolm Smith motorcycles on the way out from O.C.
Check with the AZ boys and see where they stop on the way out

I was looking online for the week long pass for Imperial Dunes. $35 for any 7 days you pick the start date. But they want another $5.75 to mail the damned thing to me! If I can buy this on my way in Thursday I will do this. I will check online to see where they list buy the pass in the area and then call the store to make sure.

Also do I need one of those whips with a flag on it to go to Glamis? I am not planning any hairy dune assaults, but I don't want Officer Nosey ticketing me either....

What else do I need to know about before I go. (Damned regulations are starting to kill the fun)

No you don't. If its registered in AZ you don't need any other stickers. Just a flag. CA needs the sticker

Just a heads up everyone. Currently, we do not have any stickers nor passes (we should have had them a week ago). The govt. shutdown has delayed a bunch of stuff. Also, While you can't shut glamis down, the Rangers and any medical/emergency services are not gonna be there, so if anyithing happens for the time being, your on your own.

Juan, No 900Mhz is not a normal ham band. I don't know what that is in the CL ad and doubt the seller does either.

And not trying to be a nanny, but you NEED a license to run a HAM radio, Ham is not a toy. If you want license free stick to a CB and its 2-3 mile range with a decent antenna. I do have a Technician class license, but with nobody else in an AZ group it is of little value at Glamis.

yea he has 450. With the 250f at Glamis you are going to have to take more beer breaks due to the heat.
