I royally pissed off an old friend when I hopped in his stupid stick shift cobalt and could shift gears without making it jerk without any previous practice with the clutch. He drove it for 3 months and was still jerking. Not sure why he was so irritated by it, but I've driven so many different clutches that they are easy to feel out now. Just gotta learn the grab point pretty quick if you end up on a hill.

    yes and no..

    right length..same body..wrong valving.

its 170/60 5150s. The ones you want is 255/70. 170/60 will be much softer and you'll want better dampening with the stiff Allpros.

yea well they are the same as a 5125..just no resi..

id look at the 7100s man..the short body 12'' stroke ones have almost the same collapsed length as the 10'' 5125s (like a .5'' more) but 2'' more droop. Get those, some 4'' bump stops, and some 1'' lift shackles or 2'' lift(probably too high at that point though..) and then you'd have some sweet travel. Plus they have big resi's, are rebuildable and if and when you relocate you can mount them to get the most travel out of them possible.

    :frusty:

    yes...

    haha

ill go probably haha just drive me NUTS not having my rig there.

I ran it by Ben and he said he was out, like the puss he is. "I have to drive home for school by Monday morning." If I don't end up being allowed to go (wife problems... ya know) then I'll let you know ahead of time, and get you in touch with someone else going.

I might invite my buddy in his XJ to go, if he gets his tie rod fixed. He bent it up pretty bad yesterday playing on rocks.

What is the benefit of those icons over the 5125s I have? I think my billies made a nice difference in feel.

they are digressive valved. So the faster you go..the smoother they get  and they have resi's so they won't over heat and fade as easily.
