Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Haircut for me. 10 bucks. Haircut and color for her... 150 every 2 months. Hands, toes..... I don't spend half the cash she does, but I put too much money into my truck.

yeah. I also try to teach here stuff about cars so if something goes wrong, i.e: flat tire or even putting air in the tires, so she knows what to do.... she always comes back and says: "that's what i have you for." ...granted i'm a tech and have access to a lift and shop equipment, but common vehicle sense that she needs to know. but i do pride myself on taking good care of her (my) 07 4runner that has 125,000 miles on it. thing runs like day 1

My wife calls me a nerd when i get on TW, and i catch myself rattling on about things im gonna do to my truck and she thinks im speaking in a foreign language.
As far as spending money, shes ok with it. She knows its my hobby, but tells me i have to keep the truck forever (which im ok with!) to get my moneys worth out of the mods.
She spends $$ on cloths and pintrest stuff. Even though i proably need a new wardrobe (ive worn the same stuff for years) id rather invest extra spending money on the Tacoma.

Same here! Who gives a fuck about what you are dressed in when you drive a bad ass truck!? Plus all my new clothes would be torn up and have oil and dirt stains in a week.

My gf is in AZ and I'm in NM. When I bring anything up from here. She calls me a dork. She loves the truck and wheeling. Guess I'm pretty lucky.

    Wife likes and hates it.
If I talk too much about it or play with the truck too much in her opinion then it goes south.
I'm learning to balance time with her and my hobbies and then all is well.
She's game with the mods with in reason and likes the fact I have a hobby, or two, or three...

Just had this conversation with my g/f:

Her: you can never make fun of me for being on Facebook again! You're always on that TacomaWorld.

Me: TacomaWorld is productive (hehe :D) Facebook is stupid.

    Her: Tacomaworld is stupid.

Me: If it weren't for Tacomaworld, I'd probably be on the streets, doing drugs with undesirables, so you should be grateful.

It kind of does suck. I'm with the mindset too that I'd rather put that kind of money into my truck. But if you don't fork out money on a haircut then they normally do an awful job. It sucks. Lol

At least the new guy I'm into appreciates me for my truck nerdiness.

I'm guessing your joking but something that seems so little can certainly have great impact on marriage. If you only have a few hours to see someone at night that time can be pretty important. That's why I was curious. My wife learned to just deal with nerd world as part of the marriage.

She went to a meet with me about a month ago and said you need a spare truck so you can beat on, she also thinks you guys are nuts scratching new trucks in the bush
