I know it sounds crazy but yes, I want to un supercharge my 2003 Tacoma extra 4x4 v6. I love the power, I have 133k miles on it but I am tired of having to run premium fuel, and from what I know of the superchargers, they are a definite possible ticking time bomb of problems. so anyway I need some advice or input on where I can order/get a factory intake manifold for it and the cost and what other parts of accessories I may need to complete this project. Thanks for any help.

does turning tires to black wall out count? How bout added snug top rebel.
Find another member that wants to be supercharged, and switch parts. I'm sure you could even make some money.

I just bought a 01 trd supercharged since birth and it has 231,500 And still running strong.
    FWIW.
Bought off near original (less than 10k) owner and he ran 89 quite often being the cheap ass that he is and it hasn't seemed to kill it yet. I'll run 93 until I flip it but may keep it a winter or 2. Need to save some life on my 10 sport

like i said..no problem finding some one to swap with you..myself included :p post your location so people can tell.

But really..i know a couple guys that have over 200k on their SC 5vzfe's..and really premium isn't THAT much more expensive. id leave it on unless your REALLY not liking something about it.

Some of this Some of that
It sounds like you are under the impression 14ok is a lot for a 5vz, I'd say keep it man. There's instructions how to rebuild it and stuff, it's really not making your engine unreliable

Theres a good chance you dont need premium anyway. Unless youre at or close to sea level. Elevation lowers octane requirements.

you'd have to change your name too "unsupercharged03" lol. I'd gladly swap parts but you likely live nowhere close to me :( I'd leave as is if I where you.

I'm at about 900 ft elevation. Should I be running premium or am I wasting $? I'm thinking more of keeping it

Yeah you need to be running premium, especially at that low of elevation. Where are you located exactly?
